Subject: We cordially invite your gracious presence at the International Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect (IC-CAN 2025)
Dear Sir/Madam,
Greetings from the International Organization for Migration (IOM)!
IOM puts the safety, dignity and protection of people first in the most challenging crisis response contexts in the world. As displacement or human rights rises to record levels, IOM will increase its own capacity, and that of other humanitarian actors, to reach and sustain access to communities in need of life-saving humanitarian and protection assistance.
On behalf of the IOM organizing committee and staff, we are pleased to invite you to attend the upcoming International Conferences on Child Abuse and Neglect , scheduled for August 22-25, 2025, in Washington, DC, at The King Luxury Hotel Convention Center, and the second edition of this event will take place from August 28 to 30, 2025, at The King Luxury Hotel and Convention Center in Dakar, Senegal. This conference is organized by End Violence Against Women International (EVAWI) in partnership with GPE in Washington, DC.
Registration for IC-CAN 2025 is free, and all invited delegates are eligible for free U.S. and Senegal visa arrangements coordinated by the organizing committee, which also includes round-trip air tickets provided by the International Organization for Migration (IOM). After confirmation and submission, delegates should complete the registration forms.
As per conference rules and regulations, interested and invited delegates are responsible for their hotel accommodations at the conference venues—the King Luxury Hotel as we have made special arrangements with them for all IC-CAN delegates.
All interested delegates should contact the Conference Registration Desk via email for registration details: (info-iccan2025). Please mention that Mrs. Amelia McIntosh, a staff member of IOM, referred you. If you have any queries or require further assistance, please reach out to me from any of the below Email.
The International Symposium on Child Abuse and Neglect is the premier conference providing expert training and networking opportunities for professionals working on child maltreatment. This conference covers all aspects of child maltreatment, including physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, exposure to violence, poly-victimization, exploitation, intervention, trafficking, and prevention. Child abuse professionals will also learn key techniques to manage vicarious trauma.
I just wanted to let you know that you should expect to hear from prominent speakers from around the world. You will learn about laws and policies related to the Anti-Trafficking Movement, including Act 105, Safe Harbor, the Prostitution Crimes Code, and SESTA-FOSTA/Rule of Law for Children's Justice! Attend to gain new skills, inspired ideas, and to leave connected, informed, and better equipped to address human rights issues in your community.
Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
With kind regards,
Mrs. Amelia McIntosh
