The American Civil Liberties Union is a nonprofit organization founded in 1920 "to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to every person in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States" that strives towards access to Social amenities for all. We do intervene through Advocacy, Health Education, Gender Violence, Human Right Education, Peacebuilding, Labor Migration and Human Trafficking, and Environmental Protection. Over the years we have engaged in evidence-based policy advocacy on human trafficking at international regional, and national levels.
On behalf of the committee and staff; It is great pleasure and honor to extend to you a warm invitation to attend the 2022 SADV International Conference on Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence, to be held April 18 to 21- 2022 at Walter E. Washington Convention Center Washington, DC 20001, United States, of America, and the second edition of the event which is to be held from April 24 to 27 - 2022 Dakar, Senegal at the King Luxury Hotel and Convention Center. The conference was organized by the American Civil Liberties Union in incorporation with the International Organization for Migration IOM.
Great speakers with being experts from around the world, come and learn about several laws and policies that intersect with the anti-trafficking movement. Act 105, Safe Harbor, Prostitution Crimes Code, SESTA-FOSTA! Come and learn new skills, be inspired by ideas, and walk away connected, informed, and better equipped to address the issue of human rights in your community.
Registration is free and all invited delegates are entitled to the United States Visa / Senegalese Visa arrangements by the American Civil Liberties Union Organizing Committee which includes delegates round trip flight tickets. The delegate will only be responsible for his/her hotel accommodation as pre-conference rules and regulations.
