Dear intended participant,

Thank you for your interest to participate in this forth coming Global AID’S conference taking place at Washington D.C United State and Saint-Louis Senegal.
You may take the opportunity to participate in these International events. The theme of the forth coming International Conferences is to equip all participants with the strategies and policies and share data’s and information’s on the issue of HIV/AIDS from various researches, case studies and individual experiences. It is also an avenue to come up with unities and resolutions to effectively address immediate and long-term issues regarding HIV/AIDS.

Conference Goal and Objectives

The Global AID’S conference 2011 will have a positive impact on the HIV/AIDS response globally, with the following objectives:

To increase the capacity of delegates to introduce, implement, and advocate for effective, evidence-based HIV/AIDS interventions in their communities, countries and regions.
To influence leaders, including key policy makers and donors, to increase their commitment to gender sensitive, evidence- and human-rights based HIV/AIDS interventions, including harm reduction strategies for people who inject drugs.
To serve as an accountability and feedback mechanism for those engaged at various levels of the response to HIV/AIDS, including policy makers and other leaders.
To increase public awareness of the continued impact of HIV/AIDS and the need for responses to the epidemic through the media and other means.
To increase understanding of the connection between human rights and an effective response to HIV/AIDS.
To increase understanding of the synergistic relationship between the scale up of the HIV/AIDS response and other global health, human rights and development priorities among key stakeholders involved in these distinct fields.
To provide opportunities for multi-stakeholder dialogue to develop creative solutions to unresolved challenges in research and implementation of HIV policies and programmes.

Conference Principles

Be inclusive of people living with HIV, and other key affected populations.
Be transparent in the way that the conference is planned and implemented.
Engage key stakeholders throughout the world in the development of and participation in the conference programme, especially those most engaged in the AIDS response, individuals and organizations in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and key affected populations, including women and girls, men who have sex with men, sex workers, young people and people who inject drugs.
Ensure gender equality in representation at all levels of the planning and in the implementation of the conference.

These events are being Organized and sponsored by the AIDS Health Care Organization (AHCO) in collaboration with other benevolent organizations in the United States of America.

The summit organizing committee in conjunction with the donor sponsoring committee has mapped out some financial rewards to group participants that distinguished themselves in their areas of discipline. Panel of Judges has been appointed to oversee and to select participants of merit...

Awards and Gifts will be given to participants on merit. You are hereby advised to equip yourselves and exhibit your God given talents to the fullest. We welcome Delegates, Inter-Governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations to the International Conference.

REGISTRATION OF PARTICIPANTS:

Individual participant or a maximum of ten (10) persons are expected to participate as a group or organization to represent their Country in the forth-coming events. None of them should be less than eighteen years of age and delegates must participate in both venue.

Note Very Important: It is not necessary that one must belong to an organization to be eligible to attend this event he/she can also participate as an individual or a group of 2 to 4 members if he/she are not capable to form a group to represent a Country are eligible to participate.

They should be in possession of their international passports to enable them participate in this conferences. You may forward the names and passport numbers of your group members to us as soon as possible, as all participants visa assistance request will be forwarded to the U.S Department of State for same day visa Authorization which shall be sent by fax to the consular section of the U.S. Embassy, in your country of residence.

Note again: All registered participants are entitled to round trip air tickets, meals and accommodation which will be provided during their stay in the U.S only. Due to the inability to mobilize enough funds, Delegates will only be responsible for their own hotel booking accommodation in Saint-Louis Senegal for the second phase of the event.
