History
Founded on merger of E-XE3089 - Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and E-XD6784 - World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF). Following a 3-year programmatic and operational merger process, ending Dec 2021, both organizations maintain separate legal entities, but now operate under a joing governing structure and joint research themes.
