Aims
Unite national associations of steel, tube and non-ferrous metal merchants of OECD countries; promote and represent their general interests vis-à-vis international organizations and associations; examine economic and structural questions concerning trade; encourage efforts of affiliates for continuing improvement in relations between their members and the producers and (where appropriate) their national governments, and their service to customers; improve exchange of information on an international level and assure exchange of information, documentation and statistics among member associations.
