Promote and facilitate research on the contemporary Arab world and the broader Middle East region through its pursuit of four interrelated mandates: encouragement of academic cooperation and research collaboration among local scholars and between researchers in Québec/Canada, the Middle East and the rest of the world; provision of research resources accessible to students and scholars; pursuit of specific research projects, under the auspices of the Consortium, on the contemporary Middle East; support for the training and research of an emerging generation of scholars.Available with paid subscription only.
