1979. Permanent office established in Brussels (Belgium), 24 Oct 1991, when statutes were altered to allow corporate association membership for industrial corporations. Statutes again revised Oct 1995, Brussels; 6 Mar 1998; 8 Jun 2005; Jun 2008. Registered in accordance with Belgian law. Ceased to exist when F-XJ9566 - MedTech Europe became single entity for EDMA and H-XD6900 - EUCOMEDC, Nov 2016.
Represent interests of the European In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) industry to various stakeholders, namely European governmental agencies, healthcare professionals who use or rely on IVD products, patients groups and the general public; champion members' export markets worldwide; create a level of awareness and a business environment that ensures a leading role for IVD in healthcare.
