History

Founded Mar 1990, by Jack Lang, French Minister of Culture. Initiative started by 3 theatres in Italy, France and Spain. Registered in accordance with French law.

Aims

In the artistic, political and societal spheres: develop international and transnational collaborations; maintain and transmit Europe's cultural heritage, focusing on its appropriation by young artists; question, develop and renew this heritage through artistic projects, and also through political projects that offer a critical reflection on today's society.
