History
1967, Prague (Czech Rep), as a Committee of B-XB1757 - International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education (ICSSPE). Activities taken over, 25 May 1989, by C-XD2106 - International Society for the History of Physical Education and Sport (ISHPES), when ICOSH merged with H-XD6408 - International Association for the History of Physical Education and Sport (HISPA), following a decision taken at ICOSH General Assembly, 23 May 1989, Olympia (Greece).
Aims
Promote historical research in physical education and sport; formulate historical problems in physical education and sport; support and organize information about history of physical education and sport.
