Foster institutional strengthening of associated members, socio-economic development of country members, preservation of the environment and inter-association cooperation. Promote projects designed to sensitize society towards: prevention and mitigation of natural hazards; sustainable management of mineral, water and energy resources; soil and underground water pollution; effects of climate change; production and diffusion of geological knowledge; economic resources and active processes as a supporting tool for land planning.
