History
to group members of F-XF0667 - European Parliament (EP), comprising part of the previous U-XF2708 - Rainbow Group. In English also referred to as Group of Independents for a Europe of Nations. No longer operational.
Aims
Represent members of the European Parliament with a common wish to present an economic and political alternative to the Maastricht Treaty and to work for the right of Member States to apply higher environmental and social standards than those agreed within the European Union.
