Optional tours included as part of the Round Table programme:

Explore the city centre of Rotterdam on a tour that takes your delegates to the largest conference center in the city, de Doelen ICC. Then we walk past city hall towards the Schielandshuis (where our office is) where we can show the Rotterdam Experience, an interactive experience explaining the tumultuous history of our city. From there we walk towards the church of St. Lawrence, a beautiful venue for social dinners. We close with a visit to the iconic Markthal where we will have a chance to try some of the amazing food on display.

Itinerary:
10:00 – Gather at Postillion WTC – start of the tour
10:15 – 11:00 De Doelen
11:15 – 11:30 – Rotterdam Experience at the Schielandshuis 11:45 – 12:15 – Church of St. Lawrence
12:15 – 13:00 – Lunch at the Markthal
13:15 – Arrival at Postillion

A tour of the South of Rotterdam. We start at Ahoy which is the city’s largest conference center and which has added a new convention center. From there we’ll go to the ss Rotterdam, a former cruiseship of the Holland America Line which is now converted to a hotel and conference center, still in the style of the 50’s. We’ll take a watertaxi to Hotel New York where you will get a tour of the Wilheminapier and Katendrecht. This area is full of history and is now a hotspot for anything hip and happening in the city with great spots such as Deliplein, Fenix Food Factory, the Floating Offices and many more.

15:30 – 16:15 – ss Rotterdam
16:30 – 17:30 – Tour of Wilheminapier and Katendrecht 18:00 – Return to Postillion

Rotterdam at it’s sustainable best. For this more casual post tour we’d like to show some innovative future forward initiatives that make Rotterdam a resilient city of the future. We’ll start at the Floating Farm, an urban floating and circular dairy farm in the heart of the city. From there we’ll continue to the M4H District which is part of the Makers District, a former dock area which is now home to creative industry, start ups, innovators and many more. We’ll finish off with a visit to the Stadshavenbrouwery. This is fully circular brewery and an amazing place for a casual social events. We’ll have a tour of the brewery, add a competitive element to the program and will enjoy a nice lunch paired with amazing beers.

11:30 – 13:00 – Tour and lunch at Stadshavenbrouwerij 13:30 – Return to Postillion
This tour is limited to a maximum of 20 delegates (and will only take place with a minimum of 3 delegates) from international associations. As part of the invitation to this post-event tour Rotterdam Partners will cover your accommodation costs for the night of Friday 25 to Saturday 26 November at the Postillion Hotel. Once you’re registered for this post-event tour; Rotterdam Partners shall make a booking for you for an additional room night on the 25th of November, therefore you will not need to book this extra night yourself.
