The Fraud Monitor is a service of the UIA and is intended to provide information only about possible fraudulent activity and scams. We are not able to provide advice to, or take action on behalf of recipients of such activities. We are not the internet police or an enforcement agency. If you are the victim of fraud then local resources are best. Always use caution when responding to or acting on unsolicited requests.

You are only responsible for your own hotel booking accommodation in Dakar Senegal, the conference organizing committee will be responsible for the accommodation here in the U.S. Together with the round trip air tickets which cover from your country of residence to the United State, from the United State to Dakar Senegal and from Dakar Senegal back to your country of residence. This including your visa processing to the United State.
