We are pleased and proud to welcome you to participate in this forth-coming International Conference on Global Coalition Against Domestic Violence on Women and Children, is scheduled to be held in New York on MAY 13th - 18th, 2016. at 120 Wall Street,14th Floor New York, NY 10005 and second phase at Event Hotel, palace de independent Sedar Senghor Conference Hall B.P: 9783 Dakar, Senegal, from MAY 21st – 25th 2016.
The conference is designed to be the largest national gathering of community based groups, government and non-government agencies who are all devoted to highlighting and showcasing successful programs in the area of domestic violence, with the united goal of eradicating domestic violence in society through the empowerment of people
and workers in the field of Domestic Violence.
Many communities have worked hard in addressing the incidence of Domestic Violence. Both non-government and government agencies have developed some great programs in addressing these problems. The Gathering is devoted to highlighting many of these successful Domestic Violence programs from different countries globally.
This gathering will focus on issues such as psychological, physical, emotional and mental abuse, including research, community and governmental programs and the dissemination of information to the whole community with the aim of providing positive outcomes. At the 2011 event, we have taken a decision to focus on and include Indigenous works in the field. As such we are extending special invitations to Indigenous groups from around the World Many communities have strong and powerful leadership in areas of the control and prevention of domestic violence. These groups have developed superb initiatives both within their country and in their Indigenous communities.
This conference aims to:
Reduce incidence of Domestic and Family Violence at all levels
Provide an open and frank forum for discussion
Lend support to individuals and families working in the field of Family and Domestic Violence
Help establish and grow a worldwide network and resources through information sharing
Show that Domestic Violence is no longer tolerated or acceptable in today’s society
To bring together men, women and organizations as a united voice against domestic and family violence

VISA INFORMATION: Participants must be in possession of their International Passports to enable them participate. Only on receipt of your filled registration forms, reservation receipt and scanned information page of your international passport will participant’s visa assistance request be forwarded to the U.S Department of State and the Senegalese Immigration for same day visa Authorization which shall be sent to the consular section of the U.S Embassy, in your country of residence.
ACCOMMODATION: All registered participants are entitled to meals and accommodation which will be provided during their participation in the U.S.A only due to the inability of our donor sponsoring committee to mobilize enough funds to sponsor the number of expected delegates to attend the conference. Delegates are only responsible for the payment of their Hotel Accommodation in Dakar Senegal for the second phase of the event at the recommended hotel.
AIR TICKETS: Air Tickets for both venues will be sponsored by our organization and other benevolent donors in the United States and worldwide. The tickets will cover from participant country of resident to the United States, from the United Stated to Senegal and back to participant’s country of resident.
