WASHINGTON, DC (April 17, 2012) - In light of the intense criticism
leveled against credit rating agencies for their perceived failure to
analyze adequately sovereign creditworthiness, the Bertelsmann
Foundation has developed a blueprint for an international non-profit
credit rating agency (INCRA), whose rating criteria are designed to
increase credibility and international acceptance.

"The emergence of an international protest movement
without a coherent program is therefore not an accident: it reflects a
deeper crisis, one without an obvious solution."

number of meetings held in Poland increases in 2011
News from the Poland Convention Bureau:
"We have summed up the data on meetings organised in 2011 by the companies recommended as Professional Congress and Incentive Travel Organisers. Thanks to the activities of companies associated in programs year after year we manage to define more meetings. This affects the promotion of Poland and improve its competitiveness on the international market. In 2011 we organised 3001 meetings, which is almost three times as many as we did in 2010!"

Belgian nonprofit registration simplifies with online application process
As of February 2012, the opportunity to establish a non-profit
association (asbl/vzw) in Belgium will be open to anyone – at the click
of a computer mouse.
As a further step in an evolving federal programme of eAdministration, with the overall aim of streamlining procedures generally, the Brussels commercial court (Tribunal de Commerce/Rechtbank van Koophandel) will now accept applications online, dramatically simplifying and speeding up the registration process.
Currently in a test phase it will soon be open to the public.
