AVAILABLE ONLINE – Report of the UIA Survey 2021 – COVID 19 Impact on International Association Meetings

Impact on meetings behavior. The Union of International Associations (UIA) is pleased to present the report of the 2021 Survey on International Meetings Issues. The COVID 19 pandemic has a tremendous impact on the global travel and meetings industry and on the meetings behaviour of international associations. This special UIA Survey 2021 – COVID 19 Impact on International Association Meetings focuses on the changed approach of associations, when planning and organizing their international events.

The 2021 Report is now freely available to the public on the UIA’s website.

This 2021 Survey was made possible through the generous support of our sponsors: Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau, Seoul Tourism Organization, Polish Tourism Organisation - Poland Convention Bureau and VisitBritain.

For the next edition of the Survey, which will be launched in 2022, we will continue to explore and evaluate how international associations have reacted to the challenges of the global pandemic.
