Meet Japan: Online Fam Trip and Meetings for Associations

Join us. The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) has opened applications for the first online version of its hosted buyers’ programme “Meet Japan”, planned to start on 26th January 2021.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many event professionals are temporarily unable to travel to Japan, which lead JNTO to completely reinvent its annual programme Meet Japan.
Meet Japan’s purpose is to support the business recovery of the associations and PCOs and help them plan ahead for their future on-site conferences, when travel is possible again. It caters to planners who are organising international conferences with 100 attendees or more and are looking for a new destination to meet in Asia.

Check the requirements and apply now on JNTO's website: https://www.japanmeetings.org/

INVITATION - Take part in the UIA 2020 Survey on the meetings of international associations

Meetings behavior. The Union of International Associations (UIA) conducts its Survey on International Meetings Issues every two years. It’s the largest survey looking into the meetings behavior of all the diverse types of international associations representing civic, charitable, commercial, or industrial interests around the world. By conducting the survey on a regular basis, those involved in the process of organizing international meetings can get a sense of changes over the years as well as the challenges of the current environment.

The Report will be released on 12 November 2020 and will be freely available to the public on the UIA’s website.

For the 2020 Survey, the UIA is supported by its sponsors Busan Tourism Organization, Seoul Tourism Organization and Singapore Tourism Board.

For more information, please contact Clara Fernández López: clara@uia.org
