Associate Member. The UIA extends a warm welcome to its newest Associate Member, Promperú - Comision del Peru para la Exportacion y el Turismo. Promperú promotes tourism and awareness of the MICE industry in Peru. Promperú’s mission: position Peru in the global scene by promoting the nation’s image as a tourist destination and producer of value added products, thus contributing to the nation’s sustainable and decentralized development.

Education. The UIA Associations Round Table aims to promote and facilitate the work of international associations by providing training and networking opportunities.
- The 8th Round Table Asia-Pacific twill take place in Seoul, Korea Rep, on 17 & 18 September 2020.
- The 14th Round Table Europe will take place in Prague, Czech Rep, on 13 & 14 November 2020

| Fellowship: postdoctoral studies on Africa / African diaspora / CSAAD |
|
Academics. The CSAAD Research Fellowship invites scholars based and living in Africa and the Diaspora (outside of North America and Europe), and who have completed their PhD within the last four years, to submit applications for the opportunity to spend either one or two semesters at New York University.
The fellowship is open to all academic fields, but the research must focus on some aspect(s) of Africa or its Diaspora.
The Fellowship will provide a studio apartment, will cover airfare, and will provide a stipend - from either 1 September 2020 to 15 January 2021; or 16 January 2021 to 31 May 2021.

Education. For the 8th consecutive year, the European Association Summit (EAS) invites the association community to the most engaging gathering of international associations in Brussels. Visit.brussels’ flagship educational summit will take place on 10 and 11 March 2020 at the Square in Brussels.
