| |  | In 2018, 48% of international association meetings took place in Europe, compared to 35% for Asia, 11% for the Americas, and 3% each for Africa and Australasia/Oceania. This represents a distinct geographic shift, as previously Europe accounted for more than half of meetings, according to the 60th UIA International Meetings Statistics Report.
