How to get there?
Our airport, Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, receives all international flights arriving in Madrid. It is located 12 kilometers northeast of the capital and connected with the city by bus, underground, train and taxi. This proximity saves passengers considerable time and money travelling to and from the airport.

It handles more than 40,000,000 passengers a year with connections to over 170 direct flight destinations served by 79 airlines. 25% of the flights between Madrid and Latin America have their origin or destination in Madrid.

Madrid has a large railroad structure connecting the capital to all parts of Spain; with the 2nd largest high speed rail network in the world, visitors can reach the main Spanish cities with truly convenient times (for example Madrid-Barcelona 2h.40’).

Do you offer any special services/assistance for associations?
The profile of each congress is carefully evaluated to determine the type of support that is offered but generally Madrid Convention Bureau assists associations by:
+ presenting candidacies supported by technical documentation adapted to every need, collaborating in the necessary expenses.
+ organising inspection visits to Madrid to show, in detail, what the city offers to organisers (covering the expenses deriving from the same).
+ providing information on the city.
+ facilitating contacts with the most suitable service providers in each case.
+ providing publicity for the event (by means of materials specially designed for that purpose: posters, leaflets, video, electronic screens).
+ officially welcoming congress attendees, as well as providing participants with tourist information on Madrid.
