Education. The UIA Associations Round Table aims to promote and facilitate the work of international associations by providing training and networking opportunities.

•The 7th Round Table Asia-Pacific will take place in Pattaya, Thailand on 19 & 20 September 2019.
•The 13th Round Table Europe will take place in Brussels, Belgium on 4 November 2019.

Topics which are set to be covered include: UN Accreditation, networking, event organization, external communications strategy, membership, governance, legal statutes, and accounting. The full programmes can be found online.

Training. The Solvay Executive Master in International Association Management resumes in January 2020, offering a unique platform for mastering the fundamental skills in key management areas with a special focus on the association executives’ needs.

The executive master is operated by Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management in cooperation with European Society of Association Executives (ESAE), the Union of International Associations (UIA), the Federation of European and International Associations (FAIB) and visit.brussels.

Save the Date: Summer University on European Citizenship

Citizenship education.
The IV edition of the Summer University on European Citizenship will bring together participants from different backgrounds – students, academics, as well as representatives of the European Institutions and civil society organizations – to debate the new agenda for European Citizenship following this year's European elections. It takes place in Brussels at the ULB Institut d'études éuropéennes on 2 and 3 September. Following the European Union elections, there is a real chance for organizations to influence the European agenda. Space is also available for displaying information about organizations and/or publications for those wishing to do so.
