My favourite places:
Restaurants

Tickets La Vida Tapa: Sharing, talking, tasting, exciting, that’s Tickets. A way of understanding life through gastronomy. The premises consists of different areas. Comments: Bookings can only be made on the website.

7 Portes: Founded in 1836, this is one of the city's classic restaurants and no visitor should miss it. Here you can enjoy absolutely authentic Catalan cooking and superb paellas in the incomparable setting of the history-filled main dining room.

Suquet de l’Almirall: Welcoming harbourside restaurant in Barcelona with a history dating back many years. Recently refurbished and located in a shipyard. Light, airy and Mediterranean. Seafood cuisine where the produce shines without ostentation. A well-stocked cellar. Friendly service.

Bars

Bar Velódromo: A legendary Barcelona institution restored to its former glory by the Moritz brewery. With Jordi Vilà at the helm, its aim is to revive a classic format that no longer exists in the city: a café, bar and restaurant where none of these concepts takes precedence over the others.

“EL BAR” Barcelona: Seasonal Barcelona dishes which combine tradition and modernity with tapas and main dishes. Cellar with 70 types of wine, a selection of cheeses and carefully crafted desserts. Attentive service and a comfortable space.

Alta Taberna Paco Meralgo: Restaurant serving high-quality tapas and half portions with fun and friendly service. The menu offers a wide range of attractive dishes that soon captivate diners.

Hotspots

La Boqueria, on La Rambla, is one of the city’s landmark food markets, which is known throughout the world. In 2005, it was named the world’s best food market at the Congress of the World Union of Wholesale Markets. A paradise for the senses!

Beaches: Barcelona has ten accessible beaches, with wi-fi and excellent amenities and services. Almost 5 km of sea and sand which are cleaned every day and where you can cool off and sunbathe. Take advantage of the best urban beaches in the Mediterranean!

The “Born” quarter, the former big market quarter which since has been renovated with stylish shops, bars, restaurants and is centered around the Santa Maria del Mar church, whose origins go back to the 10th century.

The Barcelona Convention Bureau has two distinct functions: To offer advisory services for the planning of professional events in Barcelona and to organize promotional activities geared to attract meetings in Barcelona. Additionally, all of our services are free of charge assuring you of our neutrality! Barcelona is a metropolis which is fully equipped to host meeting venues. In 2012, Barcelona maintained its position among the top 5 worldwide destinations in the ICCA ranking, as it has for the last 11 years. w w w. barcelonaconventionbureau. com
