History
Set up by U-XD3872 - European Committee for Private Hospitals, within the framework of H-XD2757 - International Union of Private Hospitals, to extend representation from European Community countries to all the countries of Europe. Replaced CEHP, set up 13 Jul 1971, Rome (Italy). Declaration of Principles/Charter adopted 18 Jun 1993, Rome. New bylaws adopted 2004.
Aims
Defend and represent independent hospitals in Europe; generate political and economic conditions favouring independent initiative in the health field; study and create better conditions for operation and management of independent hospitals.
