16 Aug 1976, Rabat (Morocco), during Conference of Arab Ministers Responsible for the Application of Science and Technology to Development in the Arab Countries (CASTARAB). 1st session: 12-15 Jun 1977, Baghdad (Iraq).
Aims
Encourage cooperation in scientific research. Promote the establishment of new institutions and plan joint regional research projects.
