Founded within the framework of B-XC1378 - International Association on the Genesis of Ore Deposits (IAGOD), following work of IGCP project 'Sulfide Deposits in Mafic and Ultramafic Rocks'; 1978-1987.
Aims
Promote research in all magmatic ore types, including platinum-group elements and oxide deposits of chromite, ilmenite and magnetite - ferrous, ferric, chromium, titanium and vanadium.
