The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).
Founded by Dr Charles Mercieca, on incorporation in the State of Alabama (USA). Founding Session 1970, Oslo (Norway).
Foster international understanding and world peace, protect the environment from air and water pollution, using education as a medium, further the application of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights through the promotion of social progress, broader international communications at personal level and the development of peaceful coexistence.
