Aims
Develop lasting relations among organizations in charge of integrated water resources management in the Mediterranean region and favour exchange of experiences and expertise among them; facilitate implementation of tools suitable for institutional and financial management, for knowledge and follow up of water resources, for organization of data bases and for preparation of water management plans and actions programmes in the medium and long term; develop information and training programmes for local officials, for users' representatives and for different stakeholders involved in water management as well as for executives and staff of organizations in charge of water management at the river basin level; encourage the population's awareness on these issues; promote these principles in international cooperation programmes; evaluate on-going actions initiated by member organizations and disseminate their results.
