History
Arose from collaboration during World War II between Commonwealth countries, with a view to continuing that cooperation and exchange. Commonwealth Broadcasting Secretariat set up Dec 1963, London, following 5th Conference, Jun 1963, Montréal/Toronto.
Aims
Create, with its members, the leading forum for exchange of knowledge to support Public Service Broadcasting/Media and the principles of free and independent media worldwide.
