1 Jan 2009, on merger of H-XD3066 - Nordic Centre for Alcohol and Drug Research (NAD), H-XD6949 - Nordiska Samarbetsorganet för Handikappfrågor (NSH), U-XK0907 - Nordic Educational Programme for the Development of Social Services and U-XF1370 - Nordisk Uddannelsescenter for Døvblindepersonale (NUD). Previously also referred to as Nordiskt Välfärdscenter and in English as Nordic Centre for Welfare and Social Issues.
