In what leading campaigners are describing as "a new chapter for nuclear
disarmament", the ratification of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear
Weapons will now come into force on 22 January, after Honduras became the
50th Member State to ratify on Saturday.

The UN Secretary-General António Guterres in a statement commended all the
countries whose ratification of the accord, approved by 122 nations at the

The Korea Tourism Organization (President Kim Jang-sil) held a ‘MICE Industry Revitalization Forum’ on December 19 at the Commodore Hotel in Busan, together with the Office of Representative Hwangbo Seung-hee of the National Assembly’s Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee and Busan Metropolitan City.

Busan is a global MICE city whose reputation is growing stronger by the day. With the end of the COVID pandemic in sight, the global MICE industry is resuming business as usual. In the first half of this year alone, the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) held over 100 more events than it did all of last year.
