Aims
Mobilize resources for African development. Priorities: promote Africa's economic and social transformation through regional economic cooperation and integration for accelerated attainment of individual and collective self-reliance and sustainability; address the growing importance of the social dimensions of economic development of the African countries and of the interrelationship between economic and social factors in the development process; strengthen and develop capacities for socio-economic and human development; promote popular participation; improve the management of environmental factors for sustainable development; improve the management and coordination of emergency, humanitarian and rehabilitation assistance.
