History
12 Jul 1989, Moscow (USSR), by Russian writer and philosopher Valentin Sidorov. Became legally international 22 Feb 1991.
Aims
As successor to the spiritual behests of the family of Nicholas Roerich, and believing that the only way out of the global crisis through spiritual-cultural revolution, recreate the movement 'peace through culture' on a new basis by unification and consolidation of spiritual-cultural forces; while identifying with all ethical principles in social and religious teaching, strive for constructive cooperation and unification on ethical grounds of concrete initiatives of Christians, Buddhists, Muslims, Hindus, "believers" and "non-believers"; promote the worldwide movement of spiritual concord on ethical fundamentals, unity in diversity and in cultural ethical unity.
