in Brussels (Belgium). Originally registered in accordance with Belgian law, 1992. When headquarters transferred to Paris (France), registered in accordance with French law, 2006.
Aims
Study, preserve and upgrade artistic and cultural heritage; promote contemporary art and defend artists' rights in the framework of a real understanding of their social role; respond to the need for a better definition of the role of the creative artist, especially as catalyst in the dynamics of socio-economic development; promote artistic expression as a universal language in the service of peace and understanding; mobilize professionals and specialists at both individual and institutional level in different fields of competence; assist social, commercial and craft education in cultural artistic expression; resist marginalization and assist cultural integration of specific groups such as the handicapped; promote use of new technology in the artistic arena; encourage greater access to cultural property.
